CM Naveen inaugurates Happiest Minds Global IT Development Centre in Bhubaneswar

Bhubaneswar: In a major boost to the IT ecosystem in Odisha, Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik has inaugurated Happiest Minds Global IT Development Centre in Bhubaneswar with a capacity for 1000+ employees. The CM said that the new centre will further strengthen Odisha as a technology resource hub of India.

The innovation centre will create employment opportunities for more than 1,000 people to facilitate service for customers in India and abroad. Apart from this, Odisha will create many opportunities for talented engineers in the coming years.

Inaugurating the centre, Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik said that Odisha has been taking giant strides in the IT sector in recent years. The CM added the growth momentum is accelerating in the IT space with the growing confidence of IT companies in Odisha as an investment destination.

Highlighting the IT-friendly ecosystem available in Bhubaneswar, CM Naveen Patnaik mentioned that Odisha is now fast emerging as a technology resource hub of India and creating jobs for the youth. He added that the enabling environment, facilitation service and huge talent pool available here have turned Odisha into a coveted investment destination.

Secretary, Department of Information and Technology, Mr Manoj Kumar Mishra said, under the guidance of the Hon’ble Chief Minister, we are committed to providing an enabling environment for growth in the field of information and technology as well as increasing employment opportunities. Happiest Minds Global IT Development Centre has decided to be a partner in Odisha’s transformation journey.

The Information and Technology Department Secretary also said that the Center will further enhance the IT ecosystem in the state and create many employment opportunities for the youth of Odisha.

Happiest Minds Global IT Development Center’s seamless customer experience, business capabilities and operational insights will enable the new branch to expand its capabilities to deliver digital transformation solutions to enterprises. The company aims to expand its capabilities in the areas of Artificial Intelligence, Blockchain, Cloud, Digital Process Automation, Internet of Things, Robotics/Drones, Security and Virtual/Augmented Reality.

Mr Ashok Soota, Executive Chairman of Happiest Minds Technology, thanked Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik and the State Government for their help in setting up the Happiest Minds Center and praised the new IT policy of the state. He also promised to establish a permanent development centre in Bhubaneswar soon. The campus will be instrumental in creating ample employment opportunities for the youth of the state.
