Childline Rescues Minor Domestic Help From Retired Collector’s House

Bhubaneswar: The childline officials have rescued a minor Domestic Help from a retired Collector’s house at the IRC Village area in Bhubaneswar on Monday.

Reportedly, the 12-year-old girl was allegedly trafficked from her village at Bramhapur in November 2020. Her father is a rickshaw puller and her mother works as domestic help.

After receiving information, Childline officials with the help of Nayapalli Police rescued the minor girl and will be produced before the Child Welfare Committee (CWC).

It is worth mentioning that the son of the house owner works as a Professor at National Law University, Hyderabad, and daughter runs an English Medium school for kids at IRC Village.
