Bhubaneswar: Chief Secretary Suresh Chandra Mahapatra is likely to make some important announcement at 4.30 PM today.
Despite lockdown in the state, the number of COVID infections and deaths is not declining. As a result, it is predicted that the State government may extend the lockdown period.
The Chief Secretary will be accompanied by NHM Director Shalini Pandit, BMC commissioner Sanjay Singh.
The Chief Secretary will provide important information on the status of corona in the state. The Secretary-General may also provide information on the government’s global tender for vaccines.
