Ganjam: A week after a fire mishap was reported at Maharaja Krushna Chandra Gajapati (MKCG) Medical College and Hospital in Berhampur, several ceiling slabs at one of the floors in the hospital reportedly collapsed today.
According to sources, the incident took place on the fifth floor of the Super Specialty Block of the hospital.
However, no casualties were reported from the incident, said sources.
While the exact cause behind the incident is yet tp be asceratined, it is suspected that the slabs might have collapsed after soaking up water.
