CDS Gen Bipin Rawat Killed In Army Chopper Crash, Air Force Confirms


Chennai: Chief of Defence Staff Bipin Rawat was killed among the 13 members after an unfortunate crash of the military chopper in Tamil Nadu, the Indian Air Force confirmed.

CDS Rawat’s wife Madhulika Rawat and 11 other persons on board have also died in the unfortunate accident.

Meanwhile, Gp Capt Varun Singh SC, Directing Staff at DSSC with injuries is currently under treatment at Military Hospital, Wellington.
The Indian Air Force confirming Gen Rawat’s death said that the latter had burn injuries over 90 percent which led to his death while treatment at the hospital.
