Dhenkanal: Around 25 passengers had a close shave after a bus they were were travelling in overturned near Alutuma bridge here in Dhenkanal district on the wee hours of Thursday.
Reportedly, one of the passengers has sustained injuries.
According to available information, the mishap occurred while the Bus, ‘Sriramji’, carrying around 25 passengers was heading towards Balasore from Rourkela, when the driver of the vehicle lost control while trying to avert a head-on collision with a truck following which the vehicle skidded off the road and turned turtle.
On being informed, police reached the spot, while locals rescued the passengers. Cops launched an investigation into the circumstances that led to the mishap.
