Burla: Despite disciplinary action and stringent norms, another incident of alleged ragging has resurfaced from Veer Surendra Sai University of Technology (VSSUT).
According to sources, the matter came to light after the parents of the victim registered a complaint against the accused seniors.
In the complaint, the guardian alleged that a group of fourth-year students entered the victim’s room and allegedly started abusing him. They also allegedly thrashed him.
On being informed, police reached the spot and started an investigation into the matter.
