Seoul: BTS’s J-Hope dubbed as sunshine by ARMY, has rubbed off all traces of his dimples and trademark cheer in the latest concept photos for his solo upcoming album, Jack In The Box.

The rapper seems to be intent on giving his fans a bit of the chills. In the recent slew of concept photos, J-Hope wears the jester hat and rather gaunt makeup, giving off strong horror vibes.

In the first look of ‘Jack In The Box’, the 28-year-old poses inside a blue box dressed in crisp white suit with a Jack hat on his head. In another post, Jung Ho-seok on Instagram teased his fans about the first single ‘MORE’ from his upcoming album with concept pictures.

J-Hope, fondly called Hobi, poses in a dingy, dark narrow hallway packed with several doors. The concept pictures for ‘MORE’ have a subtle seriousness to it with J-Hope flaunting an all-black look as he stares intensely towards the camera. The first single from the album will be released on July 1, 2022 at 1pm KST which means 9.30am in India.

BigHit Music, which manages BTS, announced J-Hope’s upcoming album on Weverse, just days after the music sensation band held a live ‘Festa Dinner’ where they talked about taking a break as a group and focusing on solo projects in their new phase after clocking almost 10 years together as a band.
