Seoul: South Korean boy band BTS, who released the song “Stay Gold” on Friday, did their first performance on the Japanese show “CDTV Live! Live!”
The breathtaking performance had a serene backdrop as the seven members – RM, Jin, Suga, J-Hope, Jimin, V, and Jungkook – sat on the chairs and showcased their vocal and rap prowess in a moving performance.
V explained the meaning behind the track. “The world isn’t just full of good things, so don’t lose your shine. That’s the beautiful message of this song,” he said.
BTS’ romantic new song “Stay Gold” has topped this week’s new music poll.
In the poll, published Friday (June 19) on Billboard, music fans voted for the previously unreleased big-beat ballad as their favorite new release from the past week. “Stay Gold” brought in 84% of the vote.
The track was included as a bonus track on the Japanese edition of the K-pop supergroup’s recent album, Map Of The Soul: 7 – The Journey album.
