Seoul: K-pop favorites BTS has claimed the Most Titles On The Sales Chart This Week and has outperformed The Beatles two-to-one when looking at how many spaces they control.
BTS’ name appears in half a dozen rungs on this week’s Top Album Sales chart.
The surge in sales is thanks in large part to their recent online-only concert Bang Bang Con: The Live, as well as the social chatter surrounding the staging.
Three BTS albums rise from where they landed on last week’s Top Album Sales chart, while another three return to the tally after departing the list.
Up first is Map of the Soul: 7, the group’s latest release. The set is back inside the top five once more, advancing just two rungs to No. 4. Not too far behind that title comes a much older effort, Love Yourself: Answer, which gains the most ground. This week, it lifts from No. 74 to No. 18, a huge movement for a set that’s already been out for years. The third BTS project that was present last time around is Map of the Soul: Persona, which settles just behind Love Yourself: Answer at No. 19. One frame ago, it was down at No. 54.
The highest-ranking of the returning titles is Love Yourself: Tear, which reappears at No. 50. Less than 10 spots down is Love Yourself: Her, which lands at No. 59. Closer to the bottom of the ranking comes BTS World, at No. 88.
