Malkangiri: A Jawan of Border Security Force (BSF) suffered grievous injuries in a landmine explosion during a search operation at Gugapadar in the district.
According to sources, the jawans were patrolling the area, under Mathili police limits, on foot when the device was detonated.
While the combing operation has been intensified in the area, the injured jawan, on the other hand, has been admitted to the hospital, said sources.
