BSF jawan donates blood, saves anemia patient in Malkangiri DHH
Malkangiri: A Border Security Force (BSF) personnel turned saviour for a woman, who was suffering from haemoglobin deficiency, at MV-30 in Malkangiri district.
According to sources, Chandrama Gadaba, a resident of Lathiaguda village under Malkangiri block, was suffering from anaemia disease and admitted to the district headquarters hospital (DHH).
Doctors at the DHH tested the woman’s blood and found that she was suffering from acute haemoglobin deficiency. The doctors then asked the woman’s family to arrange AB Positive blood immediately as it was not available at the hospital. But the patient’s kin could not find a donor and panicked.
