BPUT Students Meet Minister & Demand Reopening Of Institutions

Bhubaneswar: Demanding the reopening of its affiliated institutions in Odisha, a group of Biju Patnaik University of Technology (BPUT) students on Monday met Skill Development and Technical Education Minister Premananda Nayak.

According to reports, students met the minister and demanded to resume their physical classes at the earliest. Students said that their studies have been affected totally over the last year due to Covid-19 induced lockdown and regular curfews.

Meanwhile, the Minister said that he will convene a meeting soon to take a decision in this regard.

Notably, the Odisha government announced to reopen schools for Class X and XII students from July 26.
