Salepur: Some unidentified miscreants hurled bombs at the house of a Samiti member candidate Dilip Das in Sisua village under Salepur police station late last night.
Reportedly, Das’ wife has reportedly sustained injuries in the attack.
On the other hand, the voting for the first phase of the three-tier panchayat elections began in Odisha. The polling started at 7 am and will continue till 1 pm. The voters will decide the fate of 726 Zilla Parishad candidates in the first phase of the polls.
