Bolangir: Dispute in Bolangir royal family deepened further after an atrocity case has been registered against Arkesh Singhdeo’s wife Adrija Singh, his father-in-law Ajay Singh and brother-in-law Richa Singh.
Based on the complaint of the care taker of Anang Uday Singhdeo (Arkesh’s father) Sabita Jha, an atrocity case has been filed against Adrija and her family members.
Sabita alleged that she had been subjected to casteist slur.
The fresh case against Adrija and her family members came days after she lodged complaint of domestic violence against husband and others.
Based on the allegations of the Adrija, Uttarakhand police had recently registered a case of domestic violence against Arkesh Narayan Singh Deo, his father Ananga Udaya Singh Deo, brother Kalikesh Singh Deo and mother Bijayalaxmi Devi.
The case was registered at Rajpur police station in Derahdun .
Adrija had lodged a complaint of domestic violence and dowry torture against her husband and in-laws members.
As no action was taken in response to her complaint, she met the Director General of Police (DGP) of Uttarakhand seeking justice.
The DGP had handed over the matter to the Assistant Superintendent of Police (ASP), Dehradun.
Adrija had alleged her husband, who is the son of former Odisha Minister Ananga Udaya Singh Deo, had once attempted to kill her by hiring a contract killer.
