Jharsuguda: The District Informatics Officer (DIO) at Bolangir Collector’s office was found hanging at his residence at Brajarajnagar here on Friday.
The deceased has been identified as CVK Maruti Rao.
On being informed, police reached the spot and launched a probe into the incident.
While the exact reason is yet to be ascertained, preliminary investigation revealed that it was a suicide case.
