Malkangiri: At least three persons including a woman and her child went missing after a boat carrying them capsized at Bakuli ghat of Balimela reservoir.
Sources said the boat carrying eight persons suddenly lost control and capsized near Bakuli ghat. While five other onboard passengers managed to save their lives and swim ashore, three others went missing including a woman and her child.
On receiving information, fire services personnel rushed to the spot. A rescue operation was on to trace the missing persons till the last reports came in.
