BMC ropes in two more city hotels for pay and use quarantine facilities


Bhubaneswar: The Bhubaneswar Municipal Corporation (BMC) has roped in two more hotels in Bhubaneswar which will provide pay and use quarantine facilities at the cheapest price.

According to a notification issued by the BMC, after consultation with the hotel managements the following hotels will facilitate pay and use quarantine facilities with a fixed price.

Park Resort, in front of Syndicate bank, Cuttack Road, Bhubaneswar and Hotel Paradise Convention, Mancheswar will provide the quarantine facilities including breakfast, lunch dinner and three water bottles and the rate for per day room rental has been fixed as Rs 300 (inclusive of taxes) only for fooding.

The other hotels in the city with the pay and use quarantine facilities are Hotel Kamala Inn, Mancheswar, The Urban Park, Kharvel Nagar, Bari International, Nayapalli, Hotel  Kalinga, Bapuji Nagar, Hotel Bhinna Sakala, Chandrasekharpur and Home Dream Villa Resorts, Nandankanan, Ginger Hotel in Jaydev Vihar, Empires Hotel in Saheed Nagar and Hotel Kalinga Ashok in Kalpana Square. The charges of the above-mentioned hotels range from Rs 900 to Rs 2500 that includes breakfast, lunch, dinner and two drinking water bottles.

Persons intending to be self-quarantine could approach the hotels to avail the facility on pay and use basis for a period of 14 days.

The hotels and the guest shall adhere to the quarantine protocol as issued by Heath and family welfare department. The BMC will tag/designate doctors who will visit as per need basis and also keep regular contact over the phone with persons availing quarantine facilities, the notification further mentioned.
