BMC Forms Special Squads For Enforcement Of Safety Protocols In All Its 3 Zones

Bhubaneswar: Amid spike in number of COVID cases in some States, the Bhubaneswar Municipal Corporation (BMC) has formed five special squads for enforcement of COVID-19 guidelines in all its 3 zones. 

This was informed by BMC Commissioner Prem Chandra Chaudhary.

He further stated that an awareness drive has also been launched.

While announcements to follow the Covid-19 safety norms were made through loudspeakers at all market places in the city limits, authorities have been asked to ensure the implementation of the Covid-19 safety protocols stringently.

Earlier yesterday, the SRC has also issued fresh guidelines for the district authorities, civic bodies, and SPs.
