Peshawar: At least 17 people were killed while more than 80 people sustained injuries after an explosion at a mosque in the northwestern city of Peshawar in Pakistan on Monday.
As per the senior official, the blast took place at the mosque where a large number of people had gathered for prayer.
“A portion of the building had collapsed and several people are believed to be under it,” added the official.
