Kolkata: State BJP vice president Chandra Kumar Bose has urged for an introspection for the party after losing the recently held by-polls in West Bengal.
He tweeted that in the land of Swami Vivekananda and Netaji Subas Chandra Bose a pan India strategy would not apply to the state. Trinamool Congress won all the three seats leaving the BJP at a second position.
“Political parties must take interest in Bengal genuinely to work for its people & develop the basic infrastructure for upliftment & not just treat it as a vote bank for political victory. This would not work as the people of Bengal are politically sharp & astute,” Bose said in a tweet.
