Bhubaneswar: Prime Minister Narendra Modi is set to address a programme organized by the Odisha BJP in Bhubaneswar today.
In a tweet, PM Modi highlighted the efforts of the BJP government in Odisha, stating, “Since assuming office in June this year, the BJP Government in Odisha has been at the forefront of boosting the state’s growth trajectory. The state government is taking many measures to improve the lives of the poor and marginalised communities.”
PM Modi’s visit to Odisha spans three days, from November 29 to December 1, during which he will attend the DG-IGP conference in Bhubaneswar.
This conference will bring together top police officials from across the country to discuss critical issues related to national security and law enforcement.
The Prime Minister’s itinerary includes a series of engagements aimed at strengthening the BJP’s presence in the state.
Upon his arrival, PM Modi will be welcomed by state BJP leaders and supporters at the airport. He will then proceed to address party workers and participate in a roadshow through the city, showcasing traditional music and dance performances.
In the evening, PM Modi will visit the BJP state office in Bhubaneswar, where he will hold a crucial meeting with party leaders, including MLAs, MPs, and senior members of the BJP’s core committee. This meeting will focus on reviewing the party’s performance over the past six months and discussing development priorities for Odisha.
The DG-IGP conference, which PM Modi will attend, is a significant event that underscores the importance of national security discussions. Union Home Minister Amit Shah and National Security Advisor Ajit Doval are also expected to participate in the conference.
