BJD poll campaign: Naveen reaches Bargarh

Bargarh: Fighting the scorching heat, Biju Janata Dal (BJD) Supremo and Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik’s marathon campaign has reached Bargarh today.

According to schedule, Patnaik will address public gatherings at Bijepur, Bargarh, Barpali, and Gaisilat.

The BJD star campaigner will address the public and urge them to vote for him and his party’s candidates.

The BJD president will also attend a roadshow from Raghunathpali to Rourkela Airstrip. He will then fly back Bhubaneswar from Rourkela.

Patnaik will contest the Odisha Assembly polls from two seats — Bijepur and his home turf Hinjili in Ganjam district. Elections in Hinjili and Bijepur will be held in the second phase of polling on April 18.

Patnaik represents the Hinjili Assembly seat in south Odisha and has been winning successive assembly elections since 2000.
