Cuttack: A group of people allegedly manhandled BJD MLA Debi Prasad Mishra at Baselihata Chhak in Narasinghpur in Cuttack district on Tuesday afternoon.
According to reports, party workers shoved Mishra while he had gone to inaugurate some development projects in the area.
Though the reason behind the incident is yet to be ascertained, sources said that some party workers were unhappy with the selection of candidates for sarpanch and Samiti member posts.
