Jajpur: The Biraja temple in Jajpur district will open its doors to the devotees and pilgrims from the 29th of December (Tuesday). Darshan will be allowed between 6 am-5 pm every day.

The temple will remain closed from 1st January to 3rd January to avoid a large congregation of devotees because of the New Year, informed the District Collector today.

Reportedly, the temple has been closed for the past nine months due to the restrictions induced by the COVID-19 pandemic.

However, the entry and darshan will be strictly regulated in view of the continuing pandemic.
