Sonepur: Sonepur police have busted a bike lifting gang with the arrest of four persons in this connection and seized and seized 12 stolen bikes from various places in the district.
The arrestees have been identified as Ajay Kushal (21) of Raikeda village, Sadanand Rana (32) and Anil Bibhar (23) of Kamsara village and Neelakantha Nanda (28) of Garadamunda village.
According to reports, the matter came to the fore after one Khyamanidhi Karna of Sibatula filed a complaint with the Tarva police on February 2, alleging that his bike was stolen from Tarva CHC premises.
Acting on the complaint, police registered a case and raided several places leading to the seizure of 12 stolen bikes and arrest of the four accused persons, informed Subarnapur SP Sitaram Satpathy briefing reporters at Tarva police station.
