Bihar native murder case: Two including prime accused held, crime over ‘illicit relationship’

Cuttack: In another development in the murder case of Bihar native at Mahanadi riverbed under Bidanasi police limits, Cuttack DCP claimed illicit relationship to be a reason behind the crime.

Meanwhile, Prime accused Munni Lal and his aide Kailash were arrested. On the other hand, a manhunt for murder contractor Pankaj is underway.

Notably, the 28-year-old mason, identified as Azad Yadav of Chakasiya village in Bihar, who had been missing was found dead under mysterious circumstances on Mahanadi riverbed under the Bidanasi police station in Cuttack city on March 3.

Yadav had come to Cuttack on February 25 for work and later went missing. A day after, his relative lodged a missing complaint at Saheed Nagar police station in Bhubaneswar.
