Bhubaneswar: A pharmacist of a hospital here has been duped allegedly of Rs 1 lakh by online fraudsters in Bhubaneswar. The miscreants reportedly run a mobile app that facilitated homosexual dating.
Meanwhile, Tomando police have arrested one accused in this case while two others are on the run.
The man used the app and was lured by the fraudsters. Later, when he went to meet them, the pharmacist was trapped and looted Rs 1 lakh.
Fearing humiliation, the victim remained silent. However, a few days later he filed a complaint with the police which took action and apprehended one accused.
