Bhubaneswar COVID-19 Cases Connected To Surya Nagar and Bomikhal, Odisha CM Monitoring Situation

Bhubaneswar: Odisha Health and Family Welfare department on Monday informed that the state capital Bhubaneswar has about 30 active coronavirus positive cases.

As the COVID-19 cases surged in the state in the last three days, the H&FW department stated that most cases are connected to the first cases confirmed in Surya Nagar and Bomikhal.

Besides, it is being said that almost all the cases of Bomikhal involves a single family. Hence, chances of community spread seemed to be low.

Meanwhile, both the clusters sealed and put under active surveillance.

On the other hand, Odisha Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik is closely monitoring the COVID situation in the State. He has directed local administration to arrange basic supplies for people in the containment areas and ensure safety of doctors and front line workers doing house to house surveys.
