Bhadrak: Bhadrak district Collector suspended the revenue inspector (RI) for demanding bribe for issuing a caste certificate.
The accused has been identified as Tapas Ranjan Jena.
According to reports, the complainant had applied for a caste certificate for his daughter. However, the man was unable to get his daughter’s certificate. The man then contacted Jena who allegedly demanded a bribe of Rs 500 for the issuance of the certificate.
Following this, Jena was put under suspension as per the order of Bhadrak District Collector Siddeshwar Baliram Bondar.
