Ganjam: Maa Budhi Thakurani Temple, one of the highly-revered religious sites in Berhampur, reopened for public today.
The shrine’s doors were opened for devotees after being closed for nearly ten months due to the Covid-19 restrictions.
Devotees are allowed to visit the temple in accordance with strict Covid-19 SOPs.
The district administration has set up barricades for the smooth darshan.
Use of masks and sanitisers has been made compulsory for the people, while several restrictions have been implemented for the devotees during entry into the temple in order to maintain proper social distancing.
Reportedly, devotees visiting the famous temple would not be allowed to enter its ‘garbha-griha’ (sanctum- sanctorum).
