Keonjhar: The villagers of Balabhadrapur under Naradpur Panchayat of Keonjhar district reportedly boycotted the elections protesting alleged lack of basic amenities in their areas.
‘Bereft’ of basic amenities, including drinking water, road & electricity, voters boycotted polling at booth no 6, 7 & 8 in Balabhadrapur.
Hence, Voters yet to turn up at the polling booths here.
The irate villagers decided not to franchise their votes in the elections citing that their long-standing demands are yet to be fulfilled by the elected representatives.
