‘Bed-Ridden’ Jharkhand Man Starts Walking, Speaking After First Dose Of Covishield

Ranchi: A 55-year-old man in Jharkhand, who was bedridden for the last five years after a massive accident, started to walk and talk after taking the first dose of anti-coronavirus vaccine Covishield. 

Reportedly, one Dularchand, a resident of Bokaro’s Petarwar village met with an accident four years ago. He allegedly lost his voice and was bedridden following the accident. 

According to reports, Dularchand received the first dose of the Covishield vaccine on January 4. Later Dularchand’s body started reacting a day after he received the Covid-19 vaccine, medical in-charge of Petarwar community health centre, Dr Albel Kerketa Informed.  

Shocked over the incident, the villagers of Salgadih, about 50km from the district headquarters in Bokaro, termed it divine intervention.
