Bargarh: As many as four police personnel of Bargarh Town PS have been withdrawn from the post and attached to RO in connection with the custodial death of a 35-year-old man in Bargarh district.
According to reports, the police personnel including a sub-inspector, 2 ASIs, and a home guard have been relieved from all duties.
Gobinda Kumbhar, a resident of Tora village in Bargarh block, was picked up from his house on Friday night in connection with a case of a brawl.
However, Kumbhar became unwell on Saturday morning following which he was rushed to hospital.
Later, his condition deteriorated and was rushed to the district hospital, where he was declared dead on arrival.
