Paris: Luxury fashion brand Balenciaga have a video game lined up to debut their next clothing line. Afterworld: The Age of Tomorrow is an “allegorical adventure” set in the year 2031, in which “a hero avatar advances throughout distinct zones, motivated by tasks and interactions.”
Afterworld: The Age of Tomorrow, which will launch on December 6, will be playable in web browsers.
This comes as a part of the fashion house’s move away from the routine of doing runway shows every season, something that was further pushed forward by the coronavirus pandemic which has forced abandonment of plans for physical shows.
Burberry unveiled its latest collection in September via Twitch, and Gucci enlisted singer Harry Styles to help showcase its latest collection line in a seven-episode mini-series.
