Cuttack: A joint team comprising police and forest personnel seized a huge cache of timber at Sanabarsingh village under the Badamba forest range in Cuttack district.
Acting on a tip-off, the team conducted a raid on the small unit and seized woods worth lakhs of rupees. The cops also seized several timber cutting machines during the raid.
In compliance with the direction of Athagarh DFO, mobile squads and other officials carried out the raid, sources said.
