New Delhi: Jamiat Ulema-e-Hind has challenged the Supreme Court’s Ayodhya verdict by filing a review petition in this connection on Monday.

According to a copy of the petition, the Muslim side has claimed that the court ‘erred’ in granting relief to those who destroyed Babri Masjid.

The All India Muslim Personal Law Board (AIMPLB) said that their petition will be filed before December 9.

Zafaryab Jilani said: “We are not going to file the review petition (in the Ayodhya case) before the Supreme Court today. We have prepared the review petition and we can do it any day before 9th December”.
