German astronaut Matthias Maurer has shared incredible pictures of ‘snow-covered world’ from the International Space Station.

Matthias Maurer took to Instagram and wrote:

“Good morning world! What a beautiful start of the day when you look out the window and see the snow-covered world from above. This was a morning land pass over North America and seeing this wintry scene over Vancouver and Seattle, as well as the Columbia River and the Rocky Mountains between Idaho and Montana at sunrise was quite impressive.”
