Guwahati: Assam has been hit by a series of aftershocks since Wednesday’s earthquake. As many as 21 aftershocks were felt till Friday, officials said.
The northeastern state was also hit by two low-intensity earthquakes on Friday, two days after the northeastern state was jolted by a massive 6.4 magnitude quake.
The aftershocks have forced the people of Assam to spend sleepless nights outside their homes.
