Dibrugarh: A 14-year-old girl, who was missing for last two days, was found in an unconscious state with her hands and legs tied with a rope.
According to police, the minor, who was missing since February 3, was gang-raped by two men. She was found near the Athabari tea garden on Sunday afternoon.
Following the incident, Dibrugarh Police have arrested two people, Bhaijan Ali and Safar Ali, in connection with this case.
The accused will be prosecuted under Section 376 of the POCSO Act, 2012, said the police.
Reportedly, the victim has been sent to the Assam Medical College and Hospital for treatment and examination, said sources.
