Cuttack: The ASI of OMVD at Jharsuguda fell in vigilance net after allegation of accumulation of disproportionate assets surfaced.
The officer has been identified as Harekrushna Nayak.
Vigilance teams led by 3 DSPs, 10 Inspectors and other staff on the strength of search warrants issued by Special judge, Vigilance,Cuttack conducted raids at 6 places in Cuttack, Puri, Jharsuguda and Ganjam district.
1)One double storeyed building of Sri Nayak located at Friends colony,PS-Mangalabag,Dist-Cuttack
2)Double storyed newly constructed building of Sri Nayak located at his native place at Maluda, PS-Krushnaprasad,Dist-Puri
3) Office of Sri Nayak located at OMVD/RTO office, Jharsuguda.
4)Rented house of Sri Nayak Nayak located at Biju Nagar,ward no-09, Jharsuguda.
5)Relative’s house located at Dhipasahi,Lanjipalli, Dist-Ganjam.
6) One double storyed building in the name of Sri Nayak at Ram Nagar PS.Baidyanathpur ,Berhampur.
During house searches so far, Cash Rs 4, 46, 000 /- recovered.
