Bhubaneswar: Sri Sri Rural Development Program (Art of living) organised certificate distribution ceremony for RPL Yoga Trainer program at Railway Auditorium in Bhubaneswar yesterday.
At the event, RPL certificates in Yoga Instructor were distributed to successful skill training candidates from 13 districts of Odisha. top performers among volunteers who have selflessly worked for these welfare initiatives were felicitated.
Sri Sri Tatva inducted 100 local youth as retailers, and provided them with starter kits, in order to promote entrepreneurship and economic self-reliance in the State. The occasion was graced by Tusharkanti Behera, Minister Electronics and IT , Sports and Youth Services, Art of living Apex Members Dasariti Mishra, Lalit Mohanty, Assistant Director SSRDP Trust Tapasya, YLTP Member Sharad and Sri Sri Tatva Trilok.
Addressing the participants, Minister of Electronics and IT , Sports and Youth Services stated, “The youth will make yoga as their part in life and take it forward.”
Individuals with prior learning experience or skills are assessed and certified under the Recognition of Prior Learning (RPL) component of the Scheme. RPL Yoga is a platform to provide recognition to the informal learning or learning through the practice of Yoga to get equal acceptance as the formal levels of Yoga education. It provides an opportunity to receive certification from NSDC, MSDE.
Through this event, Art of Living aimed to promote greater awareness and public participation in skill development and entrepreneurship initiatives, for the all-round socio-economic progress of the State of Odisha.
Sri Sri Rural Development Program Trust under the aegis of Art of Living has been working for the facilitation of skills to the rural population of Odisha, with a special focus on youth.
