The Armed Forces Flag Day or the Flag Day of India is a day dedicated to India towards the collection of funds from people for the welfare of the Indian Armed Forces personnel. It is being observed annually in India on December 7 since 1949.
The Indian Armed Forces Flag Day is observed every year to honour the soldiers, airmen, and sailors of India who fought on the borders to safeguard the country’s honour.
The three branches of the Armed Forces – the Indian Army, the Indian Air Force and the Indian Navy – organise a variety of programmes to showcase their efforts towards national security.
