Mumbai: Anushka Sharma and Virat Kohli on Monday pledged their support to Prime Minister Narendra Modi to combat the coronavirus pandemic.
The couple took to social media to reveal that they have pledged their supports towards PM-CARES fund and Maharashtra Chief Minister’s Relief Fund without disclosing the amount.

Before Anushka and Virat, several other Bollywood celebrities announced that they have donated to the PM-CARES fund. Akshay Kumar donated Rs 25 crore and shared the news on social media.
Similarly, Salman Khan also contributed by extending support to 25,000 daily wage workers from the film industry. Federation of Western Indian Cine Employees (FWICE) on Sunday revealed that Salman Khan, through his Being Human Foundation, reached out to FWICE to help the daily wage workers.
Earlier, stars like Rajinikanth, Varun Dhawan, Kapil Sharma and Bhushan Kumar, among others donated towards the fight against the novel coronavirus.
