Another Low Pressure Forms Over WB & Adjoining North Odisha

Bhubaneswar: Another Low Pressure Area has formed over West Bengal & adjoining north Odisha, informed the Indian Meteorological Department (IMD) today.

According to IMD’s latest bulletin, the Low Pressure Area has formed over West Bengal & adjoining north Odisha under the influence of a cyclonic circulation over Gangetic West Bengal & neighbourhood.

Following this, Sundargarh, Keonjhar, Mayurbhanj, Balasore will witness heavy rain in the next 24 hours (from 8.30 am on Monday to 8.30 am on Tuesday).

The IMD further stated that light to moderate rain or thundershower is also likely to occur at many places in North Odisha, South coastal Odisha, and at a few places in South Interior Odisha during this period.

Yellow warning has also been issued for Balasore, Bhadrak, Jajpur, Kendrapara, Cuttack, Jagatsinghpur, Puri, Khurda, Nayagarh, Ganjam, Gajapati, Sundargarh, Keonjhar, Mayurbhanj, Dhenkanal, Angul, Boudh, Kandhamal, and Kalahandi.
