New Delhi: Amul India on Thursday celebrated the 87-year-old cricket fan Charulata Patel, who was seen cheering for India against Bangladesh in the ongoing ICC Men’s Cricket World Cup on Tuesday.

Patel was seen cheering for the team in the match between India and Bangladesh. The 87-year old caught everyone’s eyes when she was ardently cheering for the Indian team when the Men in Blue were batting.
Later, Indian skipper Virat Kohli and batsman Rohit Sharma met Patel and lauded her enthusiasm.
India defeated Bangladesh by 28 runs on Tuesday entering the semi-finals of the tournament. The team is currently placed at the second position in the tournament standings with 13 points from eight matches.
India will next take on Sri Lanka on July 6.
