Amicus Curiae Ranjit Kumar arrives in City

Bhubaneswar: Former solicitor general and Supreme Court (SC) appointed Amicus Curiae, Ranjit Kumar, has landed at Biju Patnaik International Airport here on Friday evening.

Kumar will stay in the Capital city for the night and will leave for Puri tomorrow to take stock of the progress of the implementation of reforms at Jagganth temple.

He is scheduled to hold discussions with Shree Jagannath Temple Administration (SJTA), the Temple Managing Committee, the Daitapati Nijog and other stakeholders on the implementation of reforms suggested by the apex court for the 12th-century shrine.
