Hyderabad: Telangana High Court on Friday granted an interim bail to Telugu actor Allu Arjun in a case linked to a stampede during the screening of his film ‘Pushpa-2’.
The HC verdict came just hours after Allu Arjun was sent to a 14-day judicial custody.
A lower court in Telangana on Friday passed the order on the Telugu star’s connection to the tragic stampede that occurred at Sandhya Theatre on December 4 during the premiere of his film.
The actor was arrested earlier in the day, sparking political reactions across the state.
