Bhubaneswar: Amid the rising cases of Covid-19 in the state capital, several doctors from across major government hospitals have also fallen sick because of the virus and are in isolation.
According to health officials at the All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS), around 300 officials are in isolation after infected with the deadly virus.
The hospital administration has already closed the Out Patient Department (OPD) until further notice.
The Covid-19 guidelines including social distancing, usage of masks and sanitizers will be strictly followed inside the hospital premises.
It is pertinent to mention here that the Covid-19 cases in Bhubaneswar reached 133536 on Sunday after 1321 new cases were detected in the last 24 hours. Of the 1321 new cases, 31 are quarantine cases while 1290 others are local contact cases.The number of Covid-19 active cases in Bhubaneswar stands at 8120 while 124292 persons have recovered from the infection.
