After BTS’ Grammys performance, Google search for band spikes by +700%

Las Vegas: According to Google trends, BTS was one of the top searches on the platform since the Grammys 2022, which was held on April 4.

Internet search for the seven-member band rose up to 1,000 per cent in the US in the last 30 days, while “how many members of BTS” was one of the most searched question on Google, which saw a spike of 7000 per cent.

BTS was nominated for the Best Pop Duo/Group Performance category for their hit number ‘Butter’. However, they lost the award to Doja Cat and SZA for their ‘Kiss Me More’ song. While there were many victors, BTS’ moments from the award ceremony grabbed the major attention.

For instance, singer V, aka Kim Taehyung, was all over the headlines for his little flirt skit with singer Olivia Rodrigo, which was part of BTS’ ‘Butter’ performance at the Grammys.

The boy-band BTS, which includes rappers RM, Suga, J-Hope and singers Jungkook, Jin and V, has four concert shows scheduled in Las Vegas on April 8, 9, 15 and 16. The tickets were sold out even before they were made available to the general public.
